Hiya to Hayaa....while I say my own bye-ya's

It's pretty obvious, I'm no longer a blogger...I know my page is in the "been sucking for a while" stage right now. With the advent of Facebook, the need for sharing has simmered down drastically for me.

But I also I can't let go of this page and therefore continue to put my random scattered bits on here every so often. To my lovely faithful readers, all THREE of you :) I thank you for your visit's to my infrequently updated page. It's great knowing you guys are out there and I apologize for dropping out. If you happen to join Facebook feel free to look me up.

I dont think I'll let this blog die out completely. I just cant pull the plug!! ....but it most probably will continue "sucking" so to speak! ;)

My GPS failed me...stumbled into Hartford Art School 30 mins late to an appointment I never officially made....confusion. more confusion.

What started off as an academic transcript dicussion, became a halfassed preliminary "lookover" of portfolio for methods of improvement...and suddenly a "we likie and welcome aboard and scholarship"!

So..... why does this further complicate things?

Note to self...

Never rely on Karachi photog's or rather any photographer solely for capturing your most precious memories!!!!

You just might end up with blue retouched eyes (uncalled for), and immense proportions of unwanted people in your photo albums!

Make sure to arm those who know you best with a camera, and tuck one away for yourself. These moments never come by twice!

Oscar Partay!

I won today @ Ryan and Megan's Oscar party! We were given ballots to mark off our Oscar picks and I've pocketed $50 absolutely undeserved bucks....so I'm reeling over that and the fact that Pan's Labyrinth won multiple honors and Eddie Murphy DID NOT! (oh and George Clooney was a presenter!!)

These artsy style loft walls offer little in buffering of those daily sound effects of "living" of our own and our neighbors.
But I have to admit during stressful times...when drifting off to sleep......or when I'm up late working on those long loooooooong stifling nights.....I'm instantly drawn to the sound of my neighbor's guitar practicing and singing.

I feel like the luckiest girl when he unknowingly keeps me company with his mini concerts. He's actually pretty damn good!

V-day

It's so great to know that even after 13+ years ......recieving a Valentine from one of your classmates could be so much fun!

Told recently that when considering painting as a profession you might as well learn and perfect another craft otherwise be prepared to starve.....

In other news, linseed oil (a painters handy dandy tool) is apparently good enough for consumption and makes a great salad dressing!

Subways and Kitchen Sinks

Why is it that whenever you go to NYC, down in the subways you'll always end up meeting:

Anyone you havent met in ages;
their mother;
the kitchen sink?!!!!


Had a great spontaneous trip to NY yesterday. Crick in neck was still there, which put a slight damper on the evening let alone the cats and dogs it was raining yesterday!! Checked out the American museum of Natural History....which was pretty interesting. Had the greatest pizza ever!!
